Our French pathway runs from KS1 through to A-Level, with separate Adult French provision.

KS1 French — £30 per student, per lesson
KS2 French — £30 per student, per lesson
KS3 French — £30 per student, per lesson
GCSE French — £35 per student, per lesson
A-Level French — £40 per student, per lesson
Adult French — £30 per student, per lesson

Group availability, ages and lesson times are shown on the individual programme pages.

Group classes are booked for the full term, with your learner's place reserved for that term.

Fees are calculated according to the actual number of lessons scheduled in that particular term, so you only pay for the lessons provided. For example:

13 lessons × £30 = £390

11 lessons × £30 = £330

Group tuition is paid termly in advance, unless an agreed instalment arrangement is in place.

Our A-Level provision is designed for students who want structured support alongside their school or college studies. Depending on the learner and course requirements, sessions may include:

Our French holiday camps are designed especially for primary-age children who want to enjoy French through games, creative activities, challenges and plenty of opportunities to speak and listen.

Running from 10am–4pm, each day combines French learning with fun, active activities in a friendly and supportive environment.

Please read the following information before booking lessons with BELingual.

• Group classes are booked for the full term, and your learner's place is reserved for the term.
• Group tuition is paid termly in advance, unless an agreed instalment arrangement is in place.
• Fees are calculated according to the actual number of scheduled lessons in that term.
• Group fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once the term has started.
• Missed lessons, including those due to illness, holidays or personal circumstances, cannot normally be refunded, credited or transferred to another term or learner.
• Group classes are subject to minimum enrolment numbers.
• BELingual may need to combine, reschedule or cancel a group where there are insufficient enrolments. Where this happens, we will discuss the available options with families.

• Private tuition is paid in advance.
• Private lessons can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to tutor availability.
• Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice are normally chargeable in full.
• Missed lessons without notice are chargeable in full.
• BELingual may use discretion in exceptional circumstances.

If your child is not well enough to attend school, they must not attend their BELingual lesson.

This applies to both group classes and private tuition.

If your child is absent from school because they are unwell, please keep them at home from BELingual too. This helps protect our tutors, other children and their families.

If your child has a high temperature, vomiting, diarrhoea, significant illness, or is generally too unwell to attend school, they should not attend BELingual.

For vomiting or diarrhoea, your child must stay at home for at least 48 hours after the last episode, in line with current UKHSA guidance.

For a high temperature, your child should stay at home until the temperature has gone and they are well enough to return to school.

If your child is off school because they are unwell, they must also stay home from BELingual.

BELingual group classes are booked and paid for as a termly place, rather than as individual lessons.

Your child's place is reserved for them for the full term, so fees remain payable even if your child misses a lesson due to illness. Individual missed lessons cannot be refunded, credited or transferred.

This is similar to the way a school place is paid for across the term: if a child is absent because they are unwell, the place remains available to them and the fees do not reduce for the days they are absent.

For private tuition, please give as much notice as possible. Lessons can normally be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to tutor availability. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are chargeable in full, although BELingual can offer online private lessons instead. 

• BELingual publishes its term dates in advance.
• Group classes generally follow the published BELingual term dates.
• Group lessons do not normally take place during school holidays or bank holidays unless specifically stated.
• The number of lessons varies from term to term, and group fees are calculated accordingly.

If BELingual needs to cancel a lesson because of tutor illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement lesson or alternative arrangement.

Where a replacement cannot reasonably be provided, an appropriate credit or refund will be offered.

• Invoices are due within 7 days, unless otherwise agreed.
• Please check your invoice carefully when it is received.
• A £10 administration fee applies to customer-requested changes to an invoice after it has been issued. Please check your invoice carefully and contact BELingual promptly if anything is incorrect.
• A £25 late payment fee may be applied to invoices that remain unpaid after the due date.
• BELingual reserves the right to suspend lessons where fees remain outstanding.

BELingual is committed to providing a positive, respectful and supportive learning environment.

Students are expected to treat tutors and other students respectfully and to follow reasonable instructions during lessons.

If a student's behaviour repeatedly disrupts lessons or significantly affects the learning of others, BELingual will discuss the situation with the parent or guardian.

In serious or persistent cases, BELingual may withdraw the student's place.

For children attending in-person lessons:

• Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children arrive on time.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for collecting children promptly at the end of their lesson.
• BELingual cannot accept responsibility for children outside their scheduled lesson time.
• Please let us know in advance if someone other than the usual parent/guardian will be collecting your child.

Please contact BELingual as soon as possible if you need to make a change to your booking.

• Changes to group classes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
• Changing from a group class to private tuition, changing lesson times or changing programme may result in different fees.
• A change to a booking does not automatically create a refund or credit for unused group lessons.

By booking lessons with BELingual, you confirm that you have read and understood these booking and payment terms.

BELingual may update its fees, programmes and policies from time to time. Any changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated to families in advance.
