What we do during the holidays.
During school breaks, we offer a dynamic blend of sports, creative activities, and engaging workshops that keep kids active, curious, and entertained. From crafting sessions to outdoor adventures, each day brings new opportunities for fun and discovery. We also plan seasonal outings that tie into our weekly themes, weather permitting, adding a splash of adventure to each week.
Morning Learning, Afternoon Fun!
Mornings are dedicated to interactive French classes, customised by level, where children explore vocabulary and cultural insights. Afternoons bring theme-based games and activities along with plenty of outdoor play.
Movie Fridays: We wrap up each week with a themed animated movie—perfect for ending the week on a high note!
Location and Enrolment:
Nestled in the scenic Chiltern Hills of Amersham, our holiday camp embraces its stunning natural surroundings to create a memorable blend of outdoor adventures and indoor learning.
From forest walks and lively sports days on the open field to relaxed picnics under the trees, each day at camp offers endless opportunities for children to explore, play, and learn. A highlight of the Bucks half-term and summer holidays, our camp brings French learning to life through hands-on activities and themed weekly adventures that keep kids excited and fully engaged.
We welcome children ages 5 to 10, from Reception to Year 6, at all levels of French proficiency. With a focus on fun and learning through play, our camp is an ideal environment for young minds to grow, laugh, and discover the joys of learning French!
What to Bring:
- Hydration & Nutrition: Please send your child with a refillable water bottle to keep them hydrated throughout the day, as well as a nutritious packed lunch to fuel their activities.
- Comfortable, Weather-Ready Clothing: Dress your child in comfortable clothes that allow for active movement. Be sure to include a sun hat for sunny days and a raincoat in case of unexpected showers.
- Snacks : Please pack additional healthy snacks to keep their energy up!
With these essentials, your child will be set for an exciting day at camp!
Medication and Sunscreen:
- Medication: If your child requires medication during camp hours, please hand it to our staff at drop-off, along with any necessary instructions. Ensure your child has already received any morning doses they need.
- Sunscreen: We recommend applying sunscreen to your child before camp, even if the morning seems overcast. Weather can change quickly, and we want to keep everyone safe during outdoor activities. You may also send sunscreen labeled with your child’s name for reapplication as needed.
- Allergy Information: If your child has any allergies or specific health needs, please notify us in advance. This ensures we can take all necessary precautions to keep them safe and comfortable.

All of our staff members are DBS-checked native French speakers who bring a dynamic, enthusiastic approach to each day at camp. Our team is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment that encourages children to immerse themselves in French language and culture.
We incorporate cultural learning around traditional French holidays such as La Chandeleur, Pâques, La Galette des Rois, and La Saint-Valentin, giving children an authentic and enjoyable cultural experience. Our days are thoughtfully structured, with focused learning activities in the mornings and lively cultural, sports, or game-based activities in the afternoons.
Each week, we explore a unique theme tailored to the children's ages and interests, keeping activities fresh, creative, and relevant. Themes are carefully chosen to spark curiosity and help children learn through play and discovery, ensuring an unforgettable experience every day!
