What We Do During the Holidays at Our French Holiday Camp
At our French Holiday Camp, school breaks turn into an exciting mix of sports, creative activities, and engaging workshops that keep kids active, curious, and entertained. From hands-on crafting sessions to thrilling outdoor adventures, every day offers fresh opportunities for fun and discovery. We also plan seasonal outings that align with our weekly themes, adding an extra layer of excitement—weather permitting, of course!
Morning Learning, Afternoon Fun!
Mornings are dedicated to interactive French lessons, tailored to each child’s level. Children explore new French vocabulary, cultural insights, and engage in immersive activities. In the afternoons, we switch gears to theme-based games and outdoor play, ensuring a balanced day of learning and fun.
Movie Fridays
We wrap up each week with a special themed animated movie, giving the kids the perfect chance to relax and reflect on the week’s adventures while enjoying a French film—ending the week on a high note!

Nestled in the scenic Chiltern Hills of Amersham, our French holiday camp takes full advantage of its beautiful natural surroundings to offer a unique blend of outdoor adventures and indoor learning. From tranquil forest walks and energetic sports days in the open field to relaxing picnics under the trees, every day at camp provides countless opportunities for children to explore, play, and learn in a fun, engaging environment.
A standout during both the Bucks half-term and summer holidays, our camp brings French language learning to life through hands-on activities and themed weekly adventures that keep kids excited and fully immersed in the experience.
We welcome children aged 5 to 11 years old, from Reception to Year 6, and accommodate all levels of French proficiency. With a focus on learning through play and creating lasting memories, our camp offers the perfect environment for young minds to grow, laugh, and discover the joys of learning French!
What to Bring to Our French Holiday Camp
To ensure your child has an enjoyable and comfortable day at camp, please remember to pack the following essentials:
Hydration & Nutrition:
Send your child with a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. We also recommend a nutritious packed lunch to fuel them for their exciting activities and adventures.
Comfortable, Weather-Ready Clothing:
Dress your child in comfortable clothing that allows for active movement. Be sure to include a sun hat for sunny days and a raincoat in case of unexpected showers, as we love to explore the outdoors, no matter the weather!
Healthy Snacks:
Pack some additional healthy snacks to keep your child’s energy levels up throughout the day as they enjoy our fun-filled camp activities.

Medication, Sunscreen, and Allergy Information
To ensure your child has a safe and comfortable experience at our French holiday camp, please remember the following:
Medication:
If your child requires any medication during camp hours, please hand it to our staff at drop-off along with clear instructions on how it should be administered. Make sure your child has taken any morning doses they need before arriving.
Sunscreen:
We recommend applying sunscreen to your child before camp, even on overcast mornings, as weather conditions can change quickly. For added convenience, you may also send sunscreen labeled with your child’s name for reapplication during the day if necessary.
Allergy Information:
If your child has any allergies or specific health needs, please inform us in advance so we can take the necessary precautions to keep them safe and comfortable throughout their time at camp.

We integrate cultural learning into daily activities, celebrating traditional French holidays like La Chandeleur, Pâques, La Galette des Rois, and La Saint-Valentin. This gives children an authentic and enjoyable cultural experience alongside their language learning.
