French Primary School

At BELingual, we offer a French educational program tailored to different age groups. For younger children, we create a playful environment, while older students enjoy a more formal school setting. Our classes, held in Old Amersham, cater to children aged 5 to 10. We offer separate options for  preschoolers and secondary-aged students.

Class Age Groups:

• KS1:      5-7 years old (reception-year2) on Fridays at 4.30pm 
• KS2:      8-10 years old (year 3-year6) on Fridays at 5.30pm

Both bilingual and non-bilingual children are welcome. We support children in their French learning journey by expanding their vocabulary, improving their speaking skills, and incorporating writing activities where necessary. Our fun activities, games, and exercises are tailored to each level. Visual aids help non-French speakers feel comfortable in the immersive environment. Limited class sizes ensure each child has ample opportunities to express themselves in French.

Children are encouraged to speak as much as possible during lessons, promoting idea exchange and vocabulary development. This boosts their confidence in oral expression and listening skills, making French learning effortless. Throughout the year, we explore cultural themes through age-appropriate structured play, writing activities, and exercises.

Here are the fees for this class: 

• £25 per hour
• Annual admin fee: £15
• Contribution to teaching materials: £15

Please note that lessons are non-refundable once booked, whether due to illness or otherwise. If the current class schedule doesn't suit you, we can start a new class for groups of 4 or more students.
