For secondary school students, we offer small group classes for KS3 and KS4 students between the ages of 13 - 16 years of age to help them prepare for their GCSE French exams. The program we offer is based on the English Curriculum as our children will be taking their exams here in England. We follow the GCSE French specification which is divided into 3 main subject areas called themes as below. Each theme is divided into 4 sub-topics to study. In the AQA GCSE French Speaking exam, the examiner will be assessing your communicate and interact effectively in speech for a variety of purposes. It is assessed in the following way:
The format is the same at Foundation Tier and Higher Tier, but with different stimulus questions for the Photo card and different stimulus materials for the Role-play. The teachers conduct and records the speaking exam for external examiners to mark:
1) Role-play – 15 marks.
2) Photo card – 15 marks.
3) General conversation – 30 marks.
